A message from Chris Rubesch, SD7 DFL Chair

Today we are faced by rapid developments across our country and around the world that can cause in us many emotions. Fear, sadness, hurt, and even anger. But I am reminded of Eleanor Roosevelt's words: "Anger is one letter short of danger."

Instead, the Democratic Farmer Labor coalition engages in the politics of Joy. Together we proudly speak up for working people, women, people of color, sovereign native nations, the GLBTQIA community, the environment, and more.

Each and every one of us share in the critical responsibility to carry on the DFL's proud tradition of working for these positive values. Though the challenges sometimes seem great let us remember: "....if you come together with a mission, and it's grounded with love and a sense of community, you can make the impossible possible."  - John Lewis

"Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future."

— John F. Kennedy
